  • 21% of these caregivers report their own health to be fair to poor.
  • 4 out of 10 caregivers consider their caregiving situation stressful.

I don't say this to be a downer but to emphasize how common being a caregiver is - at some point in your life, you will more than likely be a caregiver for someone.

This is why it is such a passion for me to remind caregivers how important it is to take care of their own health needs.

As I say often, we cannot be of service to others if we are unhealthy and have little reserve.
